We have been using a variety of real nappies since my daughter was born almost 2 years ago. We used our voucher to buy a small set of pre-folds and used these with our newborn daughter because they were cheap, simple and quick to wash and dry. We then needed to expand our collection and discovered the ‘Flip’ brand of re-usable liners. We loved these for their simplicity and quick drying. We added to our collection as our daughter started nursery: we wanted to provide a nappy that was easy to change with a wriggly toddler so got a few ‘all in one’ nappies. We are particular fans of the stylish nappies from Green Pomelo, Charlie Banana and Fuzzi Bunz. All of these brands offer funky nappies that disposable users will envy! They are absorbent yet quick drying and some can be adjusted as your child grows.
We are now onto the next chapter of our toileting journey as our daughter has started to regularly use a potty. I think that using real nappies has helped my daughter to better understand and communicate her toileting needs so hopefully she will be wearing stylish pants in no time!”
