DESCRIPTION:We have joined forces with Mel from Wrap a Hug Sling Library to offer the ultimate cloth nappy demo and baby wearing clinic morning! \nMonthly at Hackney Central Library\n\nLearn everything you need to know about reusable nappies.\nFriendly and informal nappy demonstration for anyone who is interested – expectant parent or those already using nappies.\nAll welcome\, no need to book!\n\nLocation: Hackney Central Library\, 1 Reading Lane\, London E8 1GQ\nTimings: \n10am-11am (approx): Cloth nappy demo and Q&As.\nFrom 11am approx till 12pm: the sling clinic will start just after the cloth nappy demo around 11am. SUMMARY:Reusable Nappy Meet and Give & Take
DESCRIPTION:***PLEASE NOTE THE TIMING OF THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED TO THE AFTERNOON 12-1:30*** \nThis event helps us to reduce waste and save money by reusing nappies and clothing rather than buying new – everybody wins!  Our meet up coincides with the Round Chapel Old School Rooms Wednesday Playgroup which is a lovely group for under 5s so you can make a whole morning of it. \nWe offer a variety of preloved reusable nappies\, baby clothes and textiles and maternity clothes\, always completely FREE!  Feel free to bring any unwanted CLEAN nappies or baby clothes in excellent condition\, to pass on to other local parents. **PLEASE BRING SEASONAL CLOTHING ONLY! (i.e. no Christmas outfits in summer please!)** \nThere is absolutely NO need to bring something in order to take.  Invite your pregnant friends and new parents to come and re-home free maternity wear and baby clothes\, even if they’re not interested in reusable nappies!  All very welcome. \nIf you have nappies or clothing to donate\, please try to bring them nearer the beginning of the event so that they have a better chance of finding a new home on the day.  We are available to receive nappy donations in advance too\, just email or DM us. \nWe will also be joined by some of the Hackney Council recycling team who can issue you with your FREE £70 reusable nappy voucher via Real Nappies for London (ID and proof of address & birth/matB1 required). \nMel from Wrap a Hug Sling Library will be on hand for sling fit checks and advice only. Book in with Mel directly in advance please and check her event info as she’s always very busy. \nWe have also set up a Facebook group to facilitate the buying/selling/sharing of preloved nappies locally HERE. \nIf you would like to donate nappies for this event but cannot make it on the day please contact us: info@hackneyrealnappy.net
