Reusable Nappy Week Meet and Give & Take

You are all invited to join us for a Reusable Nappy Week Celebration at this bonus Meet, Give & Take event!  Whether you are curious to learn about reusable nappies or are a seasoned pro who has too many nappies already, come along to meet and hang out with other local parents and babies using reusable nappies.  We’ll provide tea and cake, you can come to ask questions and/or share your own experience of using reusables, plus we’ll have experts on hand from Nappy Ever After and Real Nappies for London to share tips and advice.

This event helps us to reduce waste and save money by reusing nappies and clothing rather than buying new – everybody wins!  Our meet up coincides with the Round Chapel Old School Rooms Wednesday Playgroup which is a lovely group for under 5s so why not check it out.

We offer a variety of preloved reusable nappies, baby clothes and textiles and maternity clothes, always completely FREE!  Feel free to bring any unwanted CLEAN nappies or baby clothes in GOOD condition, to pass onto other local parents. **PLEASE BRING SEASONAL CLOTHING ONLY! (i.e. no Christmas outfits in summer please!)**

There is absolutely NO need to bring something in order to take.  Invite your pregnant friends and new parents to come and re-home free maternity wear and baby clothes, even if they’re not interested in reusable nappies!  All very welcome.

If you have nappies or clothing to donate, please try to bring them nearer the beginning of the event so that they have a better chance of finding a new home on the day.  We are available to receive nappy donations in advance too, just email or DM us.

We will also be joined by some of the Hackney Council recycling team who can issue you with your FREE £70 reusable nappy voucher  via Real Nappies for London (ID and proof of address & birth/matB1 required).

Mel from Wrap a Hug Sling Library will be on hand for sling fit checks and advice only. Book in with Mel directly in advance please and check her event info as she’s always very busy.
