“I decided to use real nappies when I was pregnant with my first child in 2009. I can’t remember exactly what prompted my decision but once it was made I never looked back! The Hackney Real Nappy Network events made it really easy for me to claim the voucher and to gain all the information and support I needed to try, buy and use real nappies. Three children later I am still using the same set with Dominic that I bought online (second hand but hardly used) in 2009 and the prefolds and even many of the wraps are still going strong! I’ve added to my nappy collection by trying out new styles and brands for free thanks to the brilliant ‘Give and Take’ events in Hackney over the years and I have used my RNFL vouchers (all three of them) to replace worn out wraps and treat my youngest to some cute new designs.”
